I like to think that who I am as a person is composed of all media I’ve ever experienced and the effects those pieces of media have had on me. Music helps me process my emotions. Movies and TV shows inspire my curiosity and drive to learn. I’m even inspired by the online content I see every day (and yes, of course, that includes memes).

I hate not being able to understand references, even in fields I’m not in, like science or geography. So, I try to educate myself about any topic I might have a few questions about. This is a plus since my family can get really competitive when we watch Jeopardy.

My general goal in life is to make people laugh. Whether I’m delivering a story that makes my friends laugh so hard they cry, or I mutter a witty line casually in conversation, making others laugh is how I’ve learned to connect with everyone. Done correctly, humor can lighten the mood, spark dialogue, or even cause the tension necessary to be a call to action.

So, with the need to consume information like a black hole swallows planets, and an inherent need to be the root of amusement, I channeled my energy into creative advertising.
